So what is Veterans Art Day?
This year marks our 13th Annual Veterans Art Day, an event for members of the military-connected community to come together through art. The day is designed to encourage creativity, foster connection, and provide a welcoming space to try something new. It’s all about celebrating creative expression and community!
ArtTroop
ArtTroop is a free, 10-week program for military veterans and service members. Participants attend weekly class sessions at the Indy Art Center, where they explore a range of visual art media. Designed as an accessible entry point into the arts, the program highlights a different medium or technique each week, encouraging creativity and experimentation. ArtTroop offers a supportive atmosphere where participants can develop artistic skills, discover new interests, and connect with a creative community. Applications for the Spring 2026 ArtTroop Program will be available at Veterans Art Day.
