Event Volunteer Needs:
We have a variety of Volunteer Shifts that we need covered for the Art Fair weekend!
Shifts that always need a little more help every year:
Please take a moment to see if you could help fill the gaps.
Bar Shifts:
All Bar Shift Volunteers: Every volunteer to work a bar shift needs to have either a Server’s Permit already or needs to fill out a “Temporary Employee Permit Application”.
Already Have a Permit: If you already have a permit please send a copy of the permit or the permit number to Events@IndyArtCenter.org. You can also enter it in when you sign up for a Bar Volunteer Shift.
Don’t Have a Permit: If you need a Temporary Permit please fill out THIS FORM and either email to Events@IndyArtCenter.org or drop off at the Indy Art Center no later than Friday, April 10, 2026.

Parking and Transportation Options
As you may know, parking in our area is limited, so please plan ahead and view the following options for parking during the event!
Check-In
Please check in at the Volunteer Tent 15 + minutes prior to your volunteer shift. Volunteer Tent is located on the west side of 67th Street, closer to College Avenue, across the street from Edgewater Apartments. At the Volunteer Tent will find an Indy Art Center staff member to help you:
Also, there you will find bottled water and snacks for all volunteers located in the Volunteer Tent.

Food and Beverage
As stated above, the Volunteer Tent will be stocked with snacks and waters for volunteers to enjoy during their shifts. There will also be some great food vendors if you’d like to purchase food during a break or before/after your shift.

On-Site Assistance
If you need assistance during your volunteer shift and there is not a staff member present at the time, please feel free to flag down someone else in a BRAF shirt who can call for assistance on a radio. You are welcome to go back to the volunteer tent if you need assistance with any issues. There will also be medics and IMPD staff on-site both days to aid with any security or medical needs.
Done for the Day
Once you have completed your shift, you will be released from your station either by an IAC staff member or the next volunteer filling your spot at that station. Once you are finished with your shift, you’re more than welcome to stick around and enjoy the fair! If you finish your shift at the end of the day, and you are willing and able to help tear down your station or jump in with any other tear down needs, we always appreciate extra helping hands!
Enjoying the Fair!
As stated previously, we highly encourage volunteers to enjoy their free admission to the fair! If you are planning to attend the fair on a day you aren’t scheduled to volunteer, you still need to check-in through the Volunteer Tent in order to be admitted. For example, if you volunteer Saturday and then come back on Sunday to shop and enjoy the Art Fair, you still need to enter through the Volunteer Tent! If you are working a late or early shift, please come early or stay late to enjoy the fair as well.
We look forward to seeing you at the Art Fair and we greatly appreciate your help! If you have any questions before this weekend please email, events@indyartcenter.org.
