Welcome to the Sculpture Studios!

Join us in our state-of-the-art fabrication and casting shop with 4 MIG welders, a TIG welder, 3 oxy/acetylene stations, a plasma cutter, and a variety of tooling equipment. Also available is a casting area for bronze, aluminum, and iron; with stations for wax fabrication and mold making. Come experience the wonders of sculpture and casting!

Bronze and Aluminum Casting - Int/Advanced

Please bring your ideas, sketches, or maquettes to the first-class meeting. During this session we will discuss the options and make plans to move forward. In each class, after that we review the progress and adjust the plan as needed. If you have not chosen a goal, we will work on that in this first class. Each class session will consist of a brief review of each student?s individual project, demonstrations of techniques, and individual work time. At class meetings we will discuss project ideas and select appropriate mold types for your pieces. There will be handouts that cover all the technical information. The pour will happen on the Saturday before our last class session. This allows for as much class time as we can get and time to open the molds and discuss our results as a class.
